Ideas on How to Utilize your Newfound Rebate Savings

Finding savings where you can and then putting those savings towards ideas that will increase traffic to your restaurant is a great way to expand your business. But are you taking advantage of every savings opportunity available?

Did you know that the products that you already order for your business may qualify for a rebate? There may even be a higher quality product available that could end up being cheaper after a rebate.

If you’re in the restaurant and/or hospitality business, rebates are something you are definitely going to want to take advantage of. Not only will it save you money, but you can put that money to work to expand your business into an even more profitable establishment.

Here are just a few ideas.

  • Expand your menu!  Now that you’re saving money on the things you already order, or are finding even better deals, you may find yourself excited about all the new items that you’re finding since you started taking advantage of rebates. Whether it’s a requested menu item from a customer or your own ideas, this could be the perfect time to expand your menu.
  • You can now afford to run more specials.  Everyone loves a good deal, and taking advantage of rebates is a great way to pass your savings down to your customers. You could run a weekly special or incorporate more items on your regular specials menu. Whatever you decide to do, your customers will be thrilled and tell their friends. Running additional specials is the perfect way to keep your regulars coming back for more and to attract new patrons.
  • Invest in non-food items that will keep them coming back.  Does your bar area need a new TV? Have you been thinking about upgrading to that sports package so your sports fans can watch the big game? What about hiring a DJ for a Karaoke Night? These are just a few ideas that, not only keep your guests coming back for more, but will also increase their time spent at your restaurant.
  • Sponsor a team and get your name out there. Youth sports teams are always looking for sponsors, and when you think about it, it’s a win-win situation for both you and the team you sponsor. Not only will you be contributing to keeping kids healthy and active, but when your logo is on the sidelines or on a jersey, you may notice families coming to your restaurant after the game to cool off and enjoy a meal together.

So how do you find the best rebates out there so you can start utilizing these savings? You can spend hours researching your products one by one, comparing them to different vendors to find the best deal, or you can hire a rebate management team. But not all rebate management programs are the same.

With RebateEdge, by DiningEdge, you have access to over 10,000 items to make your rebate efforts seamless. Instead of spending hours every time you order looking for the best deal, everything is available at your fingertips, saving you both time and money.
